A study devised by Pro Mujer and carried out by Silvina Arrossi, Lucila Szwarc, Ana Mazzadi and Agustina Thorne reveals the educational, social and economic barriers that prevent many women from accessing early detection of breast cancer in Latin America. This type of cancer is the most frequent among Latin American women, with more than 200,000 cases detected each year.
