DR. CECILIA STRAW

Licenciada* in Political Sciences (UBA). Master in International Relations (Bologna University, Italy). External researcher in the Area of Health, Economics and Society in the Center for the Study of State and Society (CEDES). She specializes in qualitative research on breast, colon and lung cancer, breast cancer patient navigation, medically assisted human reproduction, HIV and vertical transmission and tuberculosis from a social perspective and with an approach aimed towards designing and implementing public policies. She professionally offers consulting for international and national public and private institutions. Dr. Straw is a professor in the Political Sciences and Communication Sciences course of studies at the University of Buenos Aires. She has published her PhD thesis and her research findings on perceptions, opinions, acceptability, barriers and facilitators in international and national scientific journals.
